Your mission

Your Role:
As a Working Student for "AI for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teaching Support", you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our course "AI for Innovation and Entrepreneurship" at the Technical University Munich (TUM). This is not just a support role; it's an opportunity to be at the heart of one of our most ambitious and unique educational initiatives.
The Course:
"AI for Innovation and Entrepreneurship" is not your typical university course. Hosted in the grand Audimax, it boasts a capacity of over 1000 students, making it potentially one of the largest courses at TUM. What sets it apart is the caliber of guest speakers we've lined up - experts from global giants like Microsoft, Palantir, Google, Celonis, TUM Venture Labs, Konux, and more. This course is a blend of academic rigor, real-world insights, and a vision for the future of AI.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Course Management: Set up and maintain a comprehensive Notion page for each lecture, ensuring students have access to readings, lecture slides, notes, and additional resources.
  • Engagement: Create and manage in-class quizzes using Slido to enhance student interaction and understanding.
  • Student Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for administrative queries from students, ensuring their concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Speaker Management: Coordinate with our esteemed guest lecturers, ensuring smooth communication and logistics
  • Promotion: Capture engaging photos of speakers during lectures and promote the course and its speakers on LinkedIn to enhance its visibility and reach.

What You'll Gain:

Your profile

  • Proactiveness: Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Communication: Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required.
  • Tech-savviness: Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slido, PPT, Google Docs, and LinkedIn.
  • Availability: Ability to attend and support the course every Monday evening from 6 pm-8.30 pm, starting on the 16th of October.
Note that the selected candidate will not be able to formally enroll in the course or receive academic credits. However, the learning and networking opportunities are immense.
