This course in a nutshell

Many organisations have already taken first steps in AI upskilling. But creating a coherent  educational AI programme is a different challenge altogether. Employees have different needs and a one-size-fits-all approach rarely works. This full-day workshop provides you with the tools to turn what you already have into a targeted upskilling strategy for your organization.

We will use the appliedAI AI Skills Framework as a practical tool to map your needs in a structured, systematic way. Working with your own organisational inputs, you will analyse your current upskilling landscape, identify gaps, and develop draft curricula tailored to specific target groups. You can explore the full framework here. The result is a concrete, working document you can take back to your organisation and act on immediately.

Key deliverables

  • A structured AI skills gap overview across your target groups.
  • A draft AI curriculum for at least one employee group.
  • A prioritisation map of upskilling needs across your organisation.

Learning objectives

  • You use the AI Skills Framework to map the upskilling landscape across different employee groups in your organisation.
  • You can identify specific upskilling gaps for different target groups based on their roles and use cases.
  • You are able to develop a structured draft curriculum for at least one target group within your organisation.
  • You leave with a concrete starting point for a differentiated, organisation-wide AI upskilling programme.

Target audience

This workshop is designed for professionals responsible for learning and development, HR strategy, organisational development, or AI enablement. It is equally relevant for team leads and project managers building AI capability within specific departments. Basic AI literacy is helpful but not required. What matters most is your knowledge of your organisation's roles, existing initiatives, and learning needs.

Participants are asked to bring a brief overview of their existing AI tools, current training initiatives, and the key employee groups they want to address.

Trainer

The workshop is designed and delivered by one of our experts in AI education, appliedAI Institute for Europe.
